Chilling at Cleveland Park Library
Details
If you like coziness, come relax with your fellow autistics on Saturday, October 18th at 1 PM at Cleveland Park Library. Located in the safe and gorgeous Cleveland Park neighborhood at 3310 Connecticut Ave NW in Washington, DC, the library is a great space to hang out without getting overstimulated.
We often go out to eat afterwards. There are plenty of restaurants nearby.
HOW TO GET HERE
Take the Red Line to Cleveland Park. Then walk straight to 3310 Connecticut Ave. NW. Driving is not recommended because parking is expensive and difficult to find. If you have trouble finding the place or are running late, please call or text me at 202-802-3238.
HOUSEKEEPING RULES
Per library policy, eating is not permitted. Covered drinks are permitted.
If you have to take or make a phone call, please step outside onto the balcony.
We need to keep the volume low so we don't disturb the other patrons.
DO NOT take pictures of other attendees without their permission! If you do so, that is an automatic ban from the group.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
I will take a COVID test the morning of the event. If I test positive, the event will still happen, but I won't be there. If I test negative and feel well, I'll be there.
Thank you, Jan, for finding this space for us!
See you soon,
Jenny
