Holiday Cheer and Chill

Exhausted from holiday parties? Sick of shopping?

Then come to Cleveland Park Library for some holiday cheer and chill with your fellow autists!

Located just two blocks away from the Cleveland Park Metro station on the Red Line, Cleveland Park Library is easy to get to. Driving is not recommended. Parking is difficult to find and extremely expensive.

The address is 3310 Connecticut Ave. NW, Washington, DC. We will be in the large conference room on the second floor.

Per library policy, eating is prohibited. Drinks are permitted as long as they are covered with a lid.

Please do not photograph people without permission. Anyone who does that will be permanently banned. Privacy is very important to us right now for obvious reasons.

We usually go out to eat at Fat Pete's. PJ, the owner, has personally told me all I need to do is text or call and he'll let me know if there's a large party or noisy event going on. There's everything there from vegetarian to barbecue to dessert. The address is 3421 Connecticut Ave. NW, just blocks from the library.

If PJ tells me that the place is noisy on a given day, we will go somewhere else. There are plenty of restaurants in Cleveland Park.

Trains single track between Dupont Circle and Van Ness stations. Trains run every 9 minutes between Farragut North and Glenmont and every 18 minutes between Shady Grove and Glenmont.

If the weather forecast calls for wintry mix, ice, sleet, or significant snow accumulation, I am cancelling the event.

ATTENDANCE LIMIT

Per fire code, the maximum attendance is 20. If more than 20 people RSVP, they'll be added to the waitlist.
