Do you believe imagining futures is a critical activity for the future of our planet? So do we! Join us as we explore #climatefutures in order to provoke and support change in our communities.
This group is the Portland chapter of the global Speculative Futures community, hosted by the Design Futures Initiative — whose mission it is to bring people together to help imagine a better place to live. Our Portland chapter is interested in #communityparticipation of Futures as well as sharing general methods, approaches and practices as it relates to the practice of Futures work. While designed for Future Thinkers, Designers and Strategists, our group is open to folks from all disciplines and backgrounds— there is no prerequisite.
Events include: community networking & thought-sharing events, creative community workshops, and inspirational talks.
