Welcome everyone! This is a group for all ages that enjoy brisk walking and enjoying the sights of the outdoors and paths as you walk.
My name is Matt Cooper - I enjoy the gym but during my fast walks outdoors I discovered a simple technique using a 2lb or 3lb weighted bag that has the following benefits:
- increases heartrate from 90 BPM to 150 or more; always more than a walk
- adds strength to your core, shoulder, back and arms
- improves your balance
- massages your hands the faster you
We will meet at different Dallas locations throughout the year.
- The first time you attend you do not need a "speed bag", simple attend and I will have extras for you to use.
- The second time you attend I will provide one for you to keep at $20 each.
- You only need one bag while you walk
- change from clockwise to counterclockwise
- motion your arms close by your waist
- motion your arms further away from your body to increase arm and shoulder strength.
This exercise is great when you are walking with a friend or relative that can go at your pace, but you want to get a higher heartrate or increase your endurance.
