## How the software works

SPEED DATING FACTORY is a platform runs your speed dating event at your bar or restaurant with paying guests on a speed dating night. Singles find your event in our app that is advertised on Meetup by SPEED DATING FACTORY and your advertising for the event and show up. During the event, the app tells every guest which table number to sit at each round, so your staff never has to manage the room.

The business model for you as a venue:
You pay a $49/month subscription to host events — that's the only cost plus your advertising if any, with unlimited events included.

Ticket revenue is collected through the platform's payment system for SPEED DATING FACTORY. The venue does not charge the event price.

You make your money on food and drinks and 25% COMMISSION on venue ticket sales. $25-$75 per participant (you decide how much to charge) platform wide that goes 75% to SPEED DATING FACTORY and 25% to the venue organizer.

SPEED DATING FACTORY pays your 25% commission by Paypal on the 15th of every month for the prvious month.

Every dater has a one drink minimum per event, and a room full of people on dates orders more than one.

## What you have to do to hold a speed dating event

### 1. Create your account and venue profile

Sign up on the website, choose "I run a venue", and fill in your venue's details: name, address, city, country, and time zone. Event times are always shown in your venue's local time.

### 2. Pay ($49 now)

Pay the first month's fee here and you will be given by text message a link to set up your account at www.speeddatingfactory.com/

You will have 1 month to access and test the software and see if it works for you. After the month is over you will be prompted to subscribe through the website to continue hosting events at your venue or other venues through your account. The $49 a month gives you access to host unlimited speed dating events and earn a commission of 25% from seat sales.

Once active, you can publish as many events as you like nationwide.

### 3. Create your event

On the Events page, click create and set:
Title and description — e.g. "Tuesday Singles Night"
Date and start time
Duration and minutes per round (7-minute rounds are the sweet spot)
Total capacity — how many seats your room can hold
Gender balance (optional) — split seats between men and women so the night stays even
Sexual Orientation Event Choice: Straight or Gay

As soon as you publish, the event is listed for singles in your city, and seats can only be booked until they run out and the system prevents overbooking automatically.

### 4. On the night: run the event from your dashboard

Check in guests as they arrive, so the app knows who's in the room.
Start the night when everyone's settled, the app freezes the roster and assigns everyone a table with a number for round one. (you will need to buy some table numbers to assign people to your tables)

Advance the rounds — when a round's time is up, tap next round. Men rotate to the next table, women stay seated. If there's an odd number, someone sits out a round (a good moment to order a drink). For same sex couples, the software is smart enough to rotate everyone to talk to each other for the time you select.

End the event when the last round finishes.
Your only physical prep: number your tables, keep the bar staffed, and enforce the one drink minimum.

### 5. After the event

The daters take over from here. Each one privately picks who they'd like to see again, and when two people pick each other, the app reveals their contact details to each other. Nothing for you to do, but happy matches come back to the bar where they met.
