Professionally Hosted
We have professional compère Simone French (yes, an actual performer, not someone’s mate with a clipboard) who will get everyone settled, laughing and ready to have fun and connect . You also get your own host to make sure that you are feeling fabulous all afternoon long.

Conversation Cards
We have optional conversation available cards to skip the “so what do you do?” nonsense 🥱 and get straight to the important stuff. How would you hide an illegal penguin? What’s your unpopular opinion? First thing you say after being frozen for 2000 years?

Cheeky Twist - the spark box
This isnt speed dating or dating. But you can tick a spark box if you felt a spark.. and they’ll only be told if they also tick it 😏 because it takes 2 to spark!

We are Neuroinclusive
We’re neuroinclusive, which means whether you’re autistic, ADHD, anxious, introverted, or just tired of masking at every social event, you can be yourself here. We have a quiet space where you can decompress if you need to and friendly host on hand to guide you. No flashing bright lights or loud noises ✨

Meet Compère Simone French
Simone French is an Australian theatre-maker, actor, and creative facilitator whose work integrates technology and audience interactivity. She is Co-Artistic Director of TomYumSim theatre company, presenting 13 works to date and has recently returned from a UK/Berlin/Aus tour of ‘A Suffocating Choking Feeling’, a work exploring influencer manipulation and digital “truth” (inspired by cancer-faker Belle Gibson). In October, Simone premiered ‘Trainwreck’, an immersive theatre show gone-wrong integrating AI (inspired by Glasgow’s Willy Wonka immersive flop), at Croydonites Festival. She is an Acting graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts and a lecturer & youth facilitator in digital dramaturgies, devising & theatremaking.
