What we’re about
Update: we have a new location for our weekly game nights and game afternoons! We play games at Theothorne (Callunaplein 77, Dieren).
Board Game Club Dieren is a club that meets once a week in Dieren (between Arnhem and Zutphen) to play board games and card games. We sit down and play games every week, alternating between Friday evening and Sunday afternoon. Board Game Club Dieren is a vibrant community of tabletop gaming enthusiasts who come together to share their love for board games of all kinds. Whether you're a seasoned player or a curious beginner, our club offers a warm and inclusive environment for all to join.
We currently have about 40 members coming from Dieren, Arnhem, Doetinchem, Apeldoorn, Deventer and other nearby places. While the majority of our members are Dutch, we embrace diversity and warmly welcome everyone. We are happy to switch to English whenever needed to ensure that all participants can fully immerse themselves in the fun.
We believe that everyone should have access to the joy of board games, and that's why our game nights and game afternoons are free of charge. We do, however, welcome any small donations (such as € 1 per event) you'd like to contribute (though they are not required) to help cover our operational costs.
See our website (in Dutch) for more details. You can contact us through info@spellenclubdieren.nl if you have any questions.

Game Night! Bring your favourite games or join one of the games other people are bringing. We usually have about 25 people per night (most of them are not on Meetup).
While most participants are Dutch, we do have a small international community and the event is English-friendly. Our Game Night is a perfect opportunity to meet new people and play games regardless of language barriers.
Everyone is welcome—whether you're a seasoned gamer or brand new to the world of board games. Participation is free, and there's no need to register in advance. Just drop by and join a game!
