Location: Krispy Kreme in Shibuya (in the same building as Toho Cinemas).

This group aims to provide a friendly environment for writers of speculative, fantasy, and horror fiction (including literary genre fiction and speculative poetry). Rather than an open critique format, we'll take turns giving each reader 4-5 minutes to critique a piece, after which the writer gets a right of reply. Writers at any level are welcome, but manuscripts for critique should be in English and speculative in nature.

Note: We're limiting submissions to six to give proper consideration to each manuscript. While we have accepted last-minute subs when there were fewer members, we've decided to set a deadline for Thursday night before the meeting to give folks time to read. The word limit should be capped at 5,000.

Note: We have gone back to in-person meetings, however, I am keeping the zoom link here just in case we need to go back to remote.
