Language Exchange + Bubble Tea

We choose a different venue every week. This is a free event, and we welcome both locals and expats to join us for a chat and some good company.

We have certified Chinese and English teachers who also speak Spanish and Japanese. We are looking for Arabic speakers, or anyone interested in practicing these languages, or simply connecting.

This time, the venue is a small cute tea shop on the outskirts, just a 2-minute walk from Al Doha Al Jadeda metro station. Participants will be seated at different tables based on language pairs, and will swap seats from time to time.

Taiwan is the birthplace of bubble tea, so why not enjoy a language exchange over teas with different flavours? For those who don’t like tea, the café also offers coffee and waffles. As customary to support local businesses, participants are responsible for their own drinks and orders.

PS: The venue is very accessible by metro. Parking is available but limited. Please leave a message in the discussion section if you need a parking spot (e.g., “I need Parking 1”). Be sure to check the previous messages and update your number accordingly.
