Language Exchange @ Cafe

Language Exchange over a drink. We choose a different venue every week. We understand a concern about the current conditions in Qatar but life goes on. Here we build a community and support each other. We will play safe with smaller groups.

This cafe is in an interesting classic quiet corner of Souq Waqif with amazing atmosphere. Come out for a little mental break! This is a free event and we welcome local and expats to come for a chat and some good company. Participants are responsible for paying for their orders. As customary, minimum 1 order is a good practice.

Languages👂🏻💋: English, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese (and more, depending on the attendees' languages)

Location: Athr Cafe in Souq Waqif

We have certified Chinese and English teachers here who also speak Spanish and Japanese. We are looking for Arabic-speakers or anyone who wishes to practice these languages or just to connect.

Participants will be put in different tables based on number of people and langauge-pairs and swap places from time to time.

Ps: It’s inside the building. Enter the builiding and you will see this cafe in the courtyard. Look for a blonde Asian girl on arrival.
