Spikeball at Hasenheide ☀️ 🌴

Join us for spikeball at a sunny spot in the Hasenheide park!

Everyone from beginners to intermediate players is welcome. If you are a try-hard pro, this event is not for you.

Spikeball is played with four people. The rules are like two vs two volleyball, except instead of hitting a ball over a net, you’ll be hitting the ball onto the net. The ball will bounce off the net, and the other team will have a chance to return it.

You do not need to bring any equipment. Sports clothing, shoes that allow for quick movement on grass, and a drink are recommended.

Location: We meet at our usual playing location, 100 meters south-east of Café Hasenschänke, inside Hasenheide park. See the map pin. We'll be next to the two volleyball nets from this volley meetup https://www.meetup.com/berlin-volley/events/. You cannot join the volleyball meetup spontaneously.

Payment: This event is free, but we invite you to make a donation of 1 EUR towards the equipment.

Attending: Do not join if you have an infectious disease. You need to be on the attendee list to attend; being on the waitlist is not sufficient. Do not bring friends who are not on the attendee list. Trying to join without an RSVP will result in a ban.

Safety: Mind the terrain. The grass might be uneven and contain dangerous items like glass and bottle caps. Be careful not to twist your ankle. Please keep a close eye on your belongings, as we are in a public park. We do not have a full first aid kit available. Please inform the organizer of any medical conditions that might require attention during the event.

Pictures might be taken and shared publicly, such as on Meetup or Instagram. You can opt out by letting the organizer know you do not wish to be photographed.
