About us
Love books but miss having people to talk about them with? We’re a small, friendly group of English-speaking bookworms who meet once a month in a cozy Barcelona bar to chat about what we’ve read — over vermouth, wine, or whatever you fancy.
What to expect
• One book per month, chosen together
• Relaxed conversation, not an exam — all opinions welcome (especially the unpopular ones)
• Small groups (8–12) so everyone gets a word in
• Expats, locals, natives and non-natives — if you enjoy reading in English, you belong here
What we ask
• Read the book (or give it an honest try)
• RSVP only if you’re coming, and update it if plans change — spots are limited
• Bring curiosity, kindness, and a thirst (literal and literary).
We’re just getting started, so the first members will help shape the club: what we read, where we meet, and how it feels.
