Visalia Crate Digging 101: Vinyl Discovery Workshop

If you have been wanting to start a vinyl collection but feel a little overwhelmed by the rows of records in a shop, this workshop is for you. We are getting together in Visalia to talk about the fundamentals of crate digging, from how to flip through stacks efficiently to spotting the difference between a clean pressing and one that might need a little extra love. The goal is to demystify the process and help you learn how to identify hidden gems you might otherwise walk right past.

This is a low-pressure space meant for people who are just starting their journey or who have a small stack at home and want to learn more. We will cover how to judge record condition by sight, what to look for on the sleeve, and how to start building a collection that you actually enjoy listening to. Whether you are hunting for jazz, rock, or something in between, you will walk away with a better sense of how to navigate a record store with confidence.

I am looking forward to meeting everyone and sharing a few tips I have picked up over the years. We have limited space for this session, so if you think you can make it, please go ahead and RSVP so I can get a final headcount.
