Ride Name: Tannery Park to Freedom Trail
Distance: 22 miles round trip
Rating: Intermediate, recreational speeds 11-13 mph.
Ride Type: out and back
Restrooms: Porta potties and a nicer restroom at Lions Park in Tallmadge.

Note: I try to start the ride on time.
Starting Point: Tannery Park, 100 Stow Rd., Kent. Small parking lot with extra parking across the street.
Trail: Portage Bike and Hike and Freedom Trail, paved trails.
Ride Description: Our ride heads west along a short section of the Portage Bike and Hike following the beautiful Cuyahoga River. At Middlebury road we climb a steep hill, cut through the parking lot of the new Middlebury trailhead and then down a switchback to the Freedom Trail. We follow the Freedom Trail passing Lions Park and then crossing several roads that connect to Tallmadge Circle. Our turn around point is a parking lot on the University of Akron campus. CONSTRUCTION BY MILL ST BRIDGE. We may have to turnaround before around before the bridge.
HELMETS REQUIRED!
Always bring water, spare tube, CO2 or air pump and a snack (if needed).
