Cyber Resilience Act: From Law to Actionable IoT Cybersecurity Engineering

Details
We organize this event jointly with the München IoT Meetup. You can also register for the event using the following link: https://www.meetup.com/muenchen-iot-meetup/events/310966578/
Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) is the most important European regulation reshaping how we design and secure IoT and connected products. While it sets crucial general requirements, translating the regulation into practical engineering measures remains a major challenge.
In this Meetup, we will bridge the gap between law and engineering practice. Together, we will explore how CRA compliance can be approached from a product life cycle perspective, covering the impact on the IoT product development process, impacted product stakeholders, core post-development requirements and obligations, the ways to approach CRA implementation and relation to other regulations. Using real-world cases and examples, we will unpack the regulation and illustrate potential compliance strategies in practice.
This event is designed to provide a clear introduction to CRA from an engineering perspective and to support the integration of cybersecurity into IoT products beyond simple checkbox compliance.
Remote attendance is available via Microsoft Teams.
