Summer Solstice at Burger Hill

This year the solstice occurs at 10:42 PM but June 20 is officially the first day of summer so let's watch the sun set over the Catskill Mountains from the highest point in Rhinebeck, then enjoy a bite and beverage at Terrapin afterward.

The walk to the top of Burger Hill is just 0.4 miles, but on a rather steep, grassy pathway, which could be slick after a rain, so be prepared.

Speaking of rain, let's do this the next day, Saturday, if weather is ugly.

Bring a folding chair, snacks, and whatever you want to drink.
