OVERNIGHT BACKPACKING TRIP TO CARSON RIVER HOT SPRINGS

We will meet Saturday morning at the old Hope Valley Cafe now called the General Store. It will take us about 30 minutes to get to the trailhead from the General Store.
It is a 6 mile backpack to Carson River hot springs where we will camp Saturday evening next to the hot springs.
Lets have a Happy hour before dinner and after a soak in the hot springs. it will be great after hiking in 6 miles. so please bring your favorite spirit. I will be bringing my steamers so we can steam some veggies, sausages, mushrooms, ect.
Please bring warm gear it dose get cold there in the evenings.
On Sunday morning we will leave about 10:00 after a morning soak in the hot springs. we should get back to the cars between 2-3 in the afternoon.
