The Equinox: Illuminated Path 7-9pm Friday March 20th Halpatiokee Park Halpatiokee Regional Park, located at 8303 SW Lost River Road in Stuart, Florida, is the county's largest park, featuring 65 acres of active amenities and 500 acres of preserve. The park offers over 8 miles of hiking and biking trails, a 4.2-mile paddling trail on the South Fork of the St. Lucie River, soccer/football fields, tennis/pickleball courts, and a disc golf course. When entering the park you will travel straight, past the skating rink on your right . When you come to a round about , go around the circle all the way to the left, continue strait to the left and find a parking spot along the soccer fields. Walk back towards the round about circle, you will find a paved walking path that leads into the park past a playground to the right and approaching several baseball fields. Follow this path until you are greeted by one of our group. We are meeting at two picnic tables along side the path. It is a pretty quick walk. Here we will prepare with a quick centering exercise and instructions. This is meant to be a slow meditative walk of contemplation so slow down, breath , and enjoy. After the walk we will gather to collectively take a few centering breaths to integrate our experience. IMPORTANT ** Please bring bluetooth headphones, if you have them, to listed to the audio recording which will be texted to your phone before the walk begins. ** If you do not have headphones that is ok you can play audio softly to yourself as you walk. **You may want to bring bug spray or wear long pants or sleeves because we will be walking through a dense woodsy area. ** The path we will walk is paved, but if you feel you need extra light you can bring a flashlight. ** You will be required to sign a waiver at the start to protect the Park and Spirit Well from liability. .
