What we’re about
Toastmasters is a non-profit organization that started over 100 years ago in America. Our mission is to develop communication and leadership skills. Our club has native-English speakers as well as advanced EFL speakers. We are truly dedicated to helping our members develop public-speaking confidence, communication, and leadership skills. Already a professional speaker? Toastmasters Intl. also hosts the World Championship of Public Speaking! Will you be the next world champion?
Whether by accident or not, the group of individuals at this particular club is very laid back, encouraging, empathetic, welcoming and fun to be with. All of them were newbies at one point (some still are, like me) and stayed because they found their tribe of kind people.
If you are an expat or a local wanting to meet and greet, as well as improve your speech craft with native level English speakers, or simply, just to have a pint while watching a game, this is the place and the people to do it with.
