Join us for an enlightening workshop on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) with Erik Harris, where you’ll discover the wisdom and healing practices that have been passed down for over 3,000 years. TCM is a holistic system that addresses all conditions manifesting in the human body, rooted in Taoist philosophy, which emphasizes harmony with nature and the balance of Yin and Yang.
This workshop will introduce you to the fundamental principles of TCM, including the theories of Yin and Yang, the Five Elements, Zang-Fu organ systems, Qi, Blood, and Essence.
You’ll learn about the diagnostic methods used in TCM, such as tongue and pulse diagnoses, and how they guide the treatment process. This includes the use of Chinese herbs, acupuncture, cupping, moxibustion, Guasha, Tui Na, and Qi Gong.
Explore the relationship between the Yin and Yang of the body’s organs, the Five Elements
(Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water), and how they form the foundation of TCM. You’ll also
learn how practitioners assess imbalances in the body to create personalized treatment plans, focusing on both internal and external factors affecting health.
Whether you're interested in understanding the basic theories or exploring practical applications, this workshop offers a comprehensive overview of TCM’s rich and diverse practices. Dive deep into the principles of Chinese Medicine and discover how use it to bring health and vitality to your life.
