Do you wonder if you have had a spiritual experience? Are you looking for a deeper understanding of who you are and your life’s purpose? Do you want to explore the mysteries and laws of life?
Everyone has spiritual experiences. They are often difficult to understand, or leave us wanting to know more. Our Meetup group is an open, friendly, spiritual community for
all. We come together to share our experiences, explore our deepest questions, engage in spiritual discussions and meet people of like mind and heart.
Spiritual experiences may include dreams, inner guidance, déjà vu, knowingness, coincidences, out-of-body adventures, experiences with inner light or sound, or having a sense that you have lived before.
Open yourself to more love, joy, and wisdom by exploring and understanding life from a spiritual perspective.
All are welcome to come learn Eckankar’s valuable tools and spiritual exercises that are simple to do, effective, and can be practiced by anyone. These spiritual tools may be used to enhance your current path, help you explore your inner worlds more fully, achieve a better understanding of your daily life, and so much more.
This group is hosted by the local volunteers of Eckankar, the Path of Spiritual Freedom. We are here as a community service and spiritual resource for you. All our Meetups are Free and open to the Public.

Explore practical applications for HU (pronounced like "hue"). HU is an ancient name for God and a carrier of love between God and You. Singing HU has been reported by many to bring healing for body, mind, and spirit, and align the individual with higher states of love, wisdom, and awareness.
We will sing/chant the word HU for 15 to 20 minutes followed by a brief quiet contemplation. Then we will have an open discussion for sharing and Q&A.Experience it for yourself!

On page 31 of the book The Sound of Soul, Harold Klemp, the Spiritual Leader of ECKANKAR, shares this: As you chant the name of God, with love, for twenty minutes a day, the bindings that constrain Soul will begin to unwind. Not all at once, but very slowly, at a rate you can understand and accept. As these bindings are released, Soul rises in spiritual freedom.

At a Sound of Soul event, you can join - or simply listen to others chanting this ancient mantra for ten to fifteen minutes, followed by a short time for contemplation. Afterwards, enjoy spiritual conversation with others of like heart.
