🧘What is non-duality? 🧘
“Awareness is primordial; it is the original state […] without change. Consciousness is on contact, a reflection against a surface, a state of duality. There can be no consciousness without awareness, but there can be awareness without consciousness, as in deep sleep. Awareness is absolute, consciousness is relative to its content […,] partial and changeful, awareness is total, changeless, calm and silent. And it is the common matrix of every experience.” (Nisargadatta Maharaj)

Advaita, Self-Realization, Dzogchen, Nirvikalpa Samadhi, Mahamudra, Yoga, Enlightenment, Darshan, Laya, Oneness, Atman - different keys from various traditions point to non-dual experiences. Whether non-duality is part of the tradition's name, non-duality is considered at the tradition's core or non-dual experiences are viewed as valuable highly transformative events, non-duality seems to permeate most of spirituality.

Let’s share for an afternoon about what non-duality is, how our practice, our aspirations and experiences might relate to it.

Martin is a certified Mindfulness Teacher, Systemic Coach, Yogi and Altruist by heart who teaches Meditation and Martial Arts in different formats. However, in this meetup Martin focuses on the altruistic intention to open a space for people to share while offering as much facilitation as needed in the moment.
