Convento dos Capuchos Hike - Breath, Movement & Presence in Sintra

Details
Hidden deep in the forest of Sintra, the Convento dos Capuchos isn’t just a place you visit — it’s a place you feel.
Built in the 16th century, this humble Franciscan monastery was carved into rock and wrapped in cork, a sanctuary for those seeking silence, simplicity, and closeness to nature.
Step inside and you’ll sense it — the stillness, the humility, the quiet invitation to drop everything you don’t need.
On this hike, we’ll start in the forest, moving together through winding trails and dappled light. Along the way we’ll pause for guided breathwork and bioenergetic movement — opening the body, releasing stress, and letting the land do its work on us.
When we reach the Convent, we’ll take time to wander its tiny rooms and moss-covered courtyards, allowing the energy of the place to meet us exactly where we are. Then we’ll gather in a quiet spot for stillness and integration before heading back.
This is more than a hike.
It’s a chance to step out of the noise, into the forest, and back into yourself.
🎒 Bring: Comfortable walking shoes, water, snacks for energy, optional mat or blanket for movement/stillness practice.
Group size is limited to keep it personal and spacious. Event price includes Convent entry.
