In Afro-Cuban spiritual practices, Yemayá and Òshún are celebrated on September 7th & 8th for those who connect these two powerful vibrations with their Catholic counterpart of La Virgen de Regla (Our Lady of Rule) for Yemayá and La Caridad Del Cobre (Our Lady of Charity) for Òshún. Traditionally though, the elders from a long time ago in Cuba would honor them on September 8th and September 12th with heartfelt celebrations to call in fertility, heart healing, & love.
