Karen and I have moved to Chesterton from Brill about a year ago and we provided free meditation for many years in our old place.

You dont need to go to the mountains to help with mental well-being but a simple Buddhist practise of mindfulness can make all the difference in your own home. What's important is to know the basics and to have the courage to move from there to something that brings about small postive challenges.

Mindfulness comes in many forms but the practise that we will share is an authentic Buddhist practise of stilling the mind using mantra, ritual and rites. Whilst some may feel this is very formulated, it can provide a sense of equinimity with perserverence and persistence.

All you need is an open mind.

What's important is you feel comfortable to attend which is dependant on the emvironment, the knowledge and the way you can make anything fun. I've been a Buddhist for over thirty years and those core values register with me.
