Dinner & Social Justice As Spiritual Practice

Join us Sunday May 20th at 7:30pm, at 2436 Sacramento Street in Berkeley for dinner & dialogue about the intersection of community transformation & spiritual practice. Engaging the South African notion of Ubuntu, "I am because we are," we will dialogue with Sandhya Jha (director of the Oakland Peace Center) about whether and how spirituality and social engagement intersect.

We will serve a vegetarian meal and gather around the table to discuss these inspiring ideas. Please RSVP if you plan to attend so we can plan to have plenty of food for everyone! You may RSVP by responding to this message or with one of our groups on Meetup.
