A Map for Psychological and Spiritual Development
Join us for an introductory exploration of the Tree of Life — an ancient symbolic map that can also offer a practical way of understanding ourselves, our relationships and our psychological and spiritual development.

In this session, psychotherapist and author Chris Stavri will introduce the Tree of Life in an accessible and experiential way, showing how its different levels can be related to everyday life, including our body, emotions, relationships, patterns of thinking, sense of self and search for meaning.

You do not need any previous knowledge of the Tree of Life, Kabbalah, psychology or spirituality. The evening is designed as a relaxed introduction for anyone who is curious about personal growth and wants to explore a deeper understanding of themselves.

During the session we will explore:

• What the Tree of Life is and where it comes from
• The basic structure of the Tree and its different levels
• How the Tree can be understood psychologically
• The relationship between personality, the deeper Self and spiritual development
• How the Tree can help us recognise patterns in our lives
• A simple experiential exercise to help you begin relating the Tree to your own experience
• Time for questions and discussion

This event may particularly appeal to people interested in psychology, psychotherapy, self-development, spirituality, meditation, philosophy and the search for meaning.
The emphasis will be on exploration rather than belief. You are welcome whatever your spiritual or philosophical outlook.

Chris Stavri is an Accredited Counselling Psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor with more than 22 years of experience. He is the author of Know You Can Change: A Path to Psychological and Spiritual Development and has developed the Tree of Life Model for Psychotherapy, integrating psychological understanding with the traditional Tree of Life.

There will be an opportunity to meet other participants, ask questions and find out more about future Tree of Life events and courses.
