Ceremony for Peace and Spring Renewal

Join us on sacred land at Little Mesa in Abiquiu to call forth peace, to honor the coming of Spring and to take part in a special blessing ceremony. We will gather at the Little Mesa Peace/ Sound Chamber where you will find 22 acres of awe-inspiring views of Plaza Blanca, the Chama River Valley and the nearby sacred mountains. The community is part of a network of 30 peace/sound chambers around the world inspired by the vision of native American medicine person Joseph Rael/ Beautiful Painted Arrow.

During our time together, we will walk the labyrinth, gently explore the landscape and chant in the peace chamber. We will hold a blessing ceremony for the foundation of the soon-to-be-built Adobe Shade House.

May we come together to support each other, to ease the divisions and separation that are crying out for healing in our communities and country. May we gather on sacred land to hold the light for a peaceful future for ourselves, our children and all of nature.
If you are interested, you can learn about our land conservation effort and our upcoming project to build an abode shade house under the guidance of a local native and woman-owned adobe construction company.

If you are interested in adobe, we can share information about how you can be part of the build, which will take place April 13- April 30th.
