NOTE: Please RSVP in advance, but only if you are planning to come to the meeting (on time). I may cancel the meeting if there are no RSVP's within 24 hours of the meeting time. If you'd like to chat about Helium at a different time, I'm happy to do that too. Send me a message with your email address and we can chat via email or schedule a time for a call or videoconference.

If you're located near The Triangle, come learn about and discuss Helium, the people's network. We'll join the Helium Hacks Happy Hour videoconference (go to https://docs.helium.com/community-governance/ to register for it) at 5pm, but this meeting at SplatSpace (https://splatspace.org/) is a casual, free-form meeting with room for to up to 10 attendees:

Learn about (or share) tips for hotspot placement and earnings optimization.

Learn to build your own Helium coverage mapping device for optimizing your hotspot and contributing to https://mappers.helium.com/, or buy one from someone else if you don't want to build one!

Educate yourself or others about radio frequency propagation, how antennas work and how to test and tune them, topographical considerations, and other practicalities of using LoRaWAN.

Share your software and hardware projects being developed for the people's network, learn about others', and hear about emerging use cases.

This meetup is free and open to the public. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, visitors are encouraged to bring masks and observe social distancing.
