We hope that you are ready for the next Split CyberSec meetup that is taking place this Thursday at 18:45 at PICS, our well known meetup venue! Meetup will focus on best security practices when developing web applications. Our speaker, Antonio D'Angelo, will explain the most frequent vulnerabilities and how to avoid them.

Who is Antonio D'Angelo?
Antonio is an esteemed cybersecurity engineer and passionate advocate for digital safety. With a robust background in defending against digital threats and securing sensitive data, Antonio brings a wealth of expertise and experience to the forefront. He has tackled cybersecurity threats in healthcare, banking, and lottery industries among others.

Our Italian with Croatian address will summarize his extensive CyberSec knowledge into a 45-minute presentation titled Secure Developer means SECURE code (and other fairytales). Topics such as inadequate input validation where vulnerabilities such as XSS and SQLi are discussed, JWT vs Cookie and many more topics. If you are getting into web development (and if you are studying it), this lecture is worth your while because emphasis will be put on security aspects that developers, especially those not far into their career, overlook.
