Better Beer with Splunk
The science of brewing great beer is more than just the conversion of grain, water, hops and yeast into beer. It is a multi-step process that demands consistency, the elimination of errors and learning from the past. Using machine learning we can go one step further and predict when to transition the fermentation process from one stage to the next to reduce the total time from grain to glass. While brewing beer at home is fun, this presentation covers working examples of Splunk features that are applicable in any simple or complex Industrial IoT Process.
Andrew Silk is the Senior Manager, Information Security Technical Services at the BMO Financial Group. He is also a wicked brew master and very generous to his friends.
