Join Spokane City planner Colin Quinn-Hurst for a behind-the-scenes look into the planning and execution of the new protected bike lanes along Riverside Avenue downtown.

Colin Quinn- Hurst is a planner at the City of Spokane and member of the American Institute of Certified Planners. His work focuses on plans and projects that improve safety and comfort for people walking, bicycling, rolling, and accessing transit. Previously, Colin worked for the Salt Lake City Transportation Division, where he helped plan the City’s protected bike lanes and urban trail network. In his free time, Colin enjoys skiing, visiting the scenic forests and mountains of the Inland Northwest, exploring Spokane’s trails and parks with his family, and tinkering on his next commuter bicycle.
