Scenic Riders - North Fork of CDA River

Allow 40 minutes from CDA and 75 minutes from Spokane to reach start
Arrive at Idaho Fish and Game Access Area on the Old River Road at 9:45 for 10am departure
Directions:Take I90 to Exit 43 for Kingston Turn left go 1 1/2 miles past Enaville/Snake Pit Turn right at sign for Old River Rd / Alberts Landing (immediately BEFORE going under bridge). Go over one way bridge to Alberts Landing and campground store. Stay on Old River Rd and in 1/2 mile turn right at Idaho Fish and Game Access Area. There is no sign just an arrow at entrance. A bright green sign will be posted for Scenic Riders. Go down short dirt road to large area to park.
Description: Enjoy the raw beauty of the North Fork of the Coeur d’Alene River. There is a winding river, rock cliffs, peaceful meadows, and Fall colors to experience on this ride. Wildlife sightings are also common
Route: From start location on Old River Road until pavement ends and return. The road is flat with a few minor hills. Sections of the Old River Road are newly paved, but there are also a few short areas with rough road conditions and potholes to avoid. We just slow down and ride with caution Please wear bright clothing as we are not on trails but a quiet country road, usually 😊
