Finch Arboretum, Highland, NW Loop

Terrain: Paved, except for one 0.3-mile section; significant climbing +/- 1945ft.
Route Description: From Finch Arboretum, we will climb up Rosamond Ave., Southwest Drive towards Palisades Park and the Highland area by way of Deska, Basalt, Greenwood, Grove, Flint, Deno, Craig, until Rambo where we turn right for an incredible 1.3-mile descent only to be followed by a lovely 2.1-mile 3% climb. After 1 more short down and up, we get another 1-mile 7+% descent to Garfield Road then a short jaunt on Seven Mile Road where we will turn left into Riverside Park (with 1/3 of a mile of road bike ridable gravel). This is our first Bathroom (Mile 20.5) From there we take the CT with one last climb up to Bowl and Picture Overlook back to Houston onto Government way and back to Finch.
