Distance: 31.5 miles
Pace: 12 – 14
Terrain: Rolling hills. There’s a 1.5-mile climb averaging 4.5% with a max of 8%. Otherwise, typical Spokane topography. Total elevation gain 1700 ft.
Route Description: A traditional North Spokane ride – moderate distance with hills. Head out Little Spokane River Drive, then continue via Golden, Pine Needle up to Colbert Rd., where we carefully cross Highway 2 and take an Ivy League way northward to Big Meadows. At the 14-mile mark we’ll start the climb up to Green Bluff. At mile 19, we'll take a break. Becks Harvest House will be closed, so bring something to eat - we can still hang out there for a bit. After our break, we’ll coast downhill via Green Bluff and neighborhood roads to Highway 206, which we’ll ride for a half mile to Market. Market, Center, Oak and Farwell will take us to the Children of the Sun Trail, which we will follow back to the start.
