Women's Ride: Kellogg to Silverton RT

Friday, October 2, 10:00 am. Arrive 9:45am for a briefing before a 10:00 am departure.
20 miles RT on Class 1 paved, mostly flat, designated bicycle trail.
Cancellation: rain, or temperature below 50 degrees, or AQI over 100
Start from the Kellogg City Park parking lot across from The Beanery coffee shop (448 Railroad Ave, Kellogg, ID 83837).
Directions: I-90 east to exit 51. Turn right on Hill Street the right on Railroad Ave.
Ride the Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes approximately 4 miles East, where we will take a short diversion to the Sunshine Mine Memorial. Returning to the trail, we will continue East, and turn around at signs for Silverton and ride back the way we came to Kellogg.
Lunch: The Beanery sells sandwiches and coffee shop goodies, or you can bring a sack lunch. They have outdoor seating. Hopefully, the attached Trailside Depot restaurant is open for us to eat there, but I spoke to the new owner and they're still getting the place up and running (may or may not be open).
Helmets required on all Spokane Bicycle Club rides.
Plan ahead for road construction slow downs on I-90.
