This week we gather by the river in Peaceful Valley—not for a tour, but for something quieter. The roaster behind Peaceful Valley Coffee is hosting us outside his home base at 1605 W Water Ave, just steps from the Spokane River, for a slow, intentional tasting.
He roasts in small batches and builds each roast profile from the ground up—balancing intuition, experimentation, and process. The result is coffee that rewards attention. We’ll taste together, talk about roasting, and share in the kind of conversation that unfolds best without rush.
