I would love for you to join me for a fun and unique evening of Plateau Basket Weaving at the MAC (Museum of arts and culture)!
We’ll have the opportunity to learn a beautiful traditional craft of the indigenous people’s of the Columbia River Plateau region. Our class will be taught by talented artist, Julie Edwards of the confederated tribes of the Colville Indians, who will guide us through the traditional twining basketry technique.
🌟 All materials are provided and the class is just $8.
This is a 3 hour class from 5-8 pm
The Mac usually has a food vendor available, but just in case I recommend bringing along a snack and something to drink so we can stay fueled while we weave.
You do not need to be a Mac member to attend, however you will need to create a profile on their website in order to purchase your ticket.
