GO 101 (co-meetup with the Python group)

If you've ever wanted to code in go but weren't sure where to start, or have done some small applications and are wanting to dive into something bigger, this meetup is for you!
We'll be running through:
- the basics of the language
- dependency management
- repository layout for larger projects
- the standard library
- design patters to avoid gotchas
- and more!
Bring your questions and we'll do our best to answer them (and hopefully not start a flame war about the introduction of generics in go 1.18 - no promises though). If you are an experienced gopher come and share your knowledge and experience.
Come for the go, stay for the Python! This is a joint meetup with the Python group who will be covering AI Agents and Python.
