Centennial Trail West Walk

8221 Riverside Park

Centennial Trail (paved) West is a 5.8 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Nine Mile Falls, Washington that features a river and is good for all skill levels.

We will walk together as a group for 45 minutes (set timer) and turn around, at a moderate speed. (typically 3.5 miles total, up and down hill, in and out of direct sun) turn around is the outhouse at the top of the hill above Bowl & Pitcher.

This is a beautiful paved trail so tennis shoes are appropriate unless you desire greater ankle support.

*** Be sure to bring your Discover pass REQUIRED IN PARKING LOT**

Dress weather appropriate, bring water and comfy walking shoes.

** Please no children or animals.

This is NOT a dating group or hook up group, it's open to anyone that desires to be or stay healthy.

It's an easy trail, please no children or animals. If you want to know more about this trail download the App Alltrails, it has a lot of detail and photos.

Address listed on this event does take you to a small parking lot.

Spokane Downtown Walk & Rock Painting

My Fresh Basket

We will meet at My Fresh Basket (1230pm sharp under the covered area outside) , get a hot beverage (dutch if you choose).

Who wants to paint rocks? Share stories, and have fun. Painting rocks is a great way to express yourself with endless possibilities to be creative, no matter your artistry level.

I will bring the non-toxic fast-drying paint and stencils (tips appreciated)
https://www.meetup.com/spokane-healthy-eating-meetup-group/#pledge

Please bring ONE of your own smooth rocks the size of a large egg, no larger than what fits in the palm of your hand up to a semi-closed fist.
The theme is suggested to be Easter, we will paint the rocks, and you may leave them during our short walk around Riverside for others to appreciate or take home as a souvenir. (a loop from the painting location to the Flyer Wagon, through central park, over the bridge back to My Fresh Basket)

The location is vague right now where we will do the painting. I am thinking, near the river, on the grass, or a bench, depending on how many attend and the weather too. We will meet first at My Fresh Basket. (I will be in the area and look for a good spot soon and update). The paints are in pen form to limit the need for water and brushes, plus to accommodate many to few.

Dress weather appropriate, bring water and comfy walking shoes, there may be patches of ice**bring appropriate shoes and everyone is responsible for their own safety*.

This is a beautiful paved trail, and side walks (we do have to maneuver around some construction) are appropriate unless you desire greater ankle support.

** Please no children or animals.
