What we’re about
For screenwriters actively working in the Spokane area, with local meetings once a month.
Focusing on improving craft and writing to sell; providing in-depth feedback on work-in-progress scripts, motivation and accountability, discussion of craft and marketing, and table reads.
Beginners are welcome, but we want to focus on mutual support, so this is not a beginner's class on how to be a screenwriter -- it's meant to be a place of collaboration, not a classroom. Screenwriters with at least some experience are preferred.
If the group decides it's worth doing and is dedicated to making it happen, we may also explore options for self-producing micro-budget shorts or feature films. That will be entirely optional and will only be done if a large portion of group members want to.
