Spokane UX @ Power Pickleball Club

Details
This month, we’re stepping out of the usual meetup format and onto the court — literally.
Power Pickleball Club (PPC) has graciously invited us to use their facility and experience their service firsthand. Whether you're a total beginner or a seasoned player, the club will provide a short orientation on how the game is played, and then open up the courts for us to play, watch, and hang out.
🧠 UX Twist:
Before attending the event, explore Power Pickleball Club’s website and think about the experience from a service design and UX perspective:
- What’s the onboarding like for a first-time visitor?
- How clearly does the site communicate offerings, scheduling, and rules?
- How might their digital touchpoints reflect or support the in-person experience?
- Where does the user journey really begin — on the website, at the front desk, or somewhere else?
- Is the site structure intuitive for both new visitors and returning members?
- Is it clear what’s included in each booking or membership type?
We'll have a short debrief to kick off the event to compare notes — nothing too formal, just some light reflection on the digital and physical experiences.
💡Bonus If you want to flex your skills or create a portfolio piece, consider using a journey map method to outline the customer experience and highlight your research process.
