🔹 Sandra Bilbrey is Senior Director of Product Design at Dropbox, where she leads the Core Experience team. Her remit is to simplify workflows, weave in AI capabilities, and design for the millions of creatives and media professionals who rely on Dropbox every day.

Over the past seven years, she’s led teams from one to sixty across every corner of Dropbox. Her work spans core surfaces, media workflows, usability at scale, growth, and design systems, and she’s built and managed multidisciplinary teams across design, engineering, product, research, content, operations, and accessibility. She also pioneers cutting-edge prototyping practices, bridging design and engineering to explore how AI can transform the way we work.

Sandra came to design through a love of writing, graphic design, and front-end code. With fifteen years in product design across SaaS, legal tech, and research institutions, she’s passionate about human-centered design, and believes the mission of design and technology is to make the world better for people.

A proud fan of community and technical colleges, Sandra attended Bellevue College before earning her BS in Human Centered Design & Engineering from the University of Washington.

She lives in Spokane with her partner and two cats, where she’s restoring historic buildings in Hillyard, supporting the new Creative District, and hosting pop-up art galleries — always looking for new ways to bring creativity and community together.
