Game Description:
Looking for a friendly game of tennis and the chance to get to know new people who love to play? Join us at Mayfield Tennis Club for a relaxed and sociable morning of doubles tennis. Whether you’ve recently returned to tennis or play regularly, you’ll find a welcoming group and plenty of fun rallies. Players of most standards are welcome, provided you’re above beginner level and have played singles or doubles before. 💜 Coming on your own? Perfect! Most people do. We’ll make sure everyone is mixed in, partnered up and included, so there’s no pressure or awkwardness. The focus is on enjoying tennis, meeting new people and having a great time. We usually have a minimum of 6-8 club members playing every week, so you’re guaranteed a game.
We play on our outdoor astroturf courts in a relaxed atmosphere, rotating partners throughout the session so everyone gets plenty of games and the opportunity to play with different people. After tennis, we’d love you to stay for a drink and a chat in our clubhouse and bar. It’s a fantastic way to make new tennis friends, play regularly and become part of our friendly community.
🎾 Tennis balls are provided—just bring your racquet. Don’t have one? No problem! Send me a message beforehand and I’ll arrange one for you.
đźš— We have parking for up to eight cars at the club, with plenty of free on-street parking nearby. Look out for the MAYFIELD CUB sign at the entrance to the driveway.
Whether you’re looking for regular tennis partners, returning to the game, or simply fancy a fun morning outdoors, we’d love to welcome you.
Come for the tennis, stay for the friendships—we can’t wait to meet you! 🎾
