About SCC
The Sports Creative Community (SCC) was founded in 2018 by Matt Desmond to bridge the gap for creatives in sports. What began as a Slack channel has grown into a nonprofit organization of more than 8,900 members worldwide, a place where designers, videographers, social media managers, and storytellers connect, share, and grow together.

Through meetups, panels, and online collaboration, SCC provides a space to learn, give back, and build lasting relationships in the industry. SCC continues to evolve while staying true to its culture of connection and support.

MEMBERS GET MORE: Gain full access to our network of sports professionals, showcase your creative portfolio, and unlock members-only career opportunities. Member benefits include:

  • SCC Slack Community: Connect with others, find opportunities and build your crew.
  • SCC Video Interview: Upload your work, share your story and let hiring managers find you.
  • Creator Marketplace: Browse a directory of creatives available for work in your area.
  • Job Access: Get a first look at day gigs and full-time roles before anyone else.
