🌿 Welcome to the Spring Hill Nature Community!
If you've recently joined the group—or have been thinking about attending an event—this is the perfect opportunity to meet fellow members in a relaxed, low-pressure setting.
Instead of a long hike, we'll gather at the pavilion near the playground and basketball courts at Crews Lake Park for about 30–40 minutes to chat about nature, local parks, gardening, wildlife, useful plants, food forests, mushrooms, and other outdoor interests.
Whether you're a seasoned naturalist or simply enjoy spending time outdoors, everyone is welcome.
Bring your favorite coffee, tea, water, or other drink if you'd like.
We'll also spend a little time discussing what kinds of future events you'd most enjoy—nature walks, plant identification, food forest tours, native plants, gardening, birding, mushroom walks, or something entirely different. This is your community, and I'd love your input.
After the gathering, anyone interested is welcome to join me for a short, optional walk through the park.
