Help The Hungry

Come help us pack up food boxes for a local school and enjoy some pizza and dessert afterwards

• What we'll do
We will gather in Wester Hall in Grace Presbyterian Church in Springfield, VA to build 75 food boxes filled with staples such as sugar, flour, cereal, canned vegetables, pasta, etc. The church provides the food and will later deliver it to a local school. Counselors will give the boxes to needy families. ALL ARE WELCOME IN OUR CHURCH.

• How can you help?
- Just bring your hands and feet! Be ready to work, even if you can only help for a while.
- Watch the demonstration of building food box and follow the what you see in the sample food box.
- Food items will be lined up on a line of tables in the order in which they'll go into your box. We'll ask a few volunteers to constantly replenish the tables with food.
- Take your box to the stage at the end of the one of tables.

• Important to know
- All are welcome! The Handicap entrance is through the Tower door (Door 2) in front.
- All others can enter at the North parking lot, Door 3.
- Please use the North and South parking lots. The neighbors will appreciate it!
