Garden of the Gods Hike + Lunch at Bird Dog BBQ

We'll meet in the first dirt lot on the left as you enter the park from the Visitors Center. The parking lot is for the dog park but us too. Feel free to bring your well-behaved dogs on leash!

If you show up late or want a shorter hike, you can meet us at the second lot on the left after you enter. It's the main lot with the spectacular up close views of the rock formations and the brick & mortar restroom. If you want a more difficult hike, pack some weights in your backpack. This will be a brisk hike so please be aware of that ahead of time.

We will stretch and do intros until 11:10 at which time we will start the hike.

From the dog park we will hike towards the main parking lot. Then we will take the Palmer Trail to Siamese Twins. On the loop back to the lot we will tour through the middle of America's #1 most beautiful park: The Garden of the Gods.

Bird Dog BBQ is a restaurant group specializing in Oklahoma-style BBQ, primarily located in Colorado Springs and Fountain, Colorado. Founded in 2004, they have been voted "Best BBQ in Colorado Springs" multiple times.
