Kayaks and SUP at 11 Mile Reservoir, late lunch after, BBQ Shack in Lake George

*Be at 11 mile by 10a.m.
Bring your kayak or stand-up paddleboard for some time on the lake and eat in Lake George after. Even a rod and reel, if you wish. Initially, we will meet in the parking lot on the East-side of the lake, near the ranger station. Look for the Meetup banner on my vehicle, black Santa Fe. We will probably launch at the main lot by the boat ramp.
I plan to hang out on the East Side of the lake. Storms can come up quick at 11 mile and you need to get off the lake ASAP.
Wearing a personal floatation device is required and you must have an emergency whistle too - for everyone on a personal watercraft at 11 Mile. If you don't have an annual Parks Pass, they should still be $10-12 for the day. 11 Mile can get windy - Bring bug spray, shorts, but also a jacket - water, snacks and a hat. I am camping around there starting Friday afternoon and can give my cell number in case you get lost or come up prior to Sunday. There is now a cell tower close to 11 mile reservoir, usually good cell reception.
