Blodgett Open Space Loop

The Blodgett Open Space extended loop, recommended by some of our intrepid Springs Trail Hikers, may be found on https://api-v5.alltrails.com/explore/recording/afternoon-hike-at-blodgett-peak-open-space-connector-loop-e70088c?p=120026429&sh=j20c5w&utm_medium=map_share&utm_source=alltrails_virality. It is combination of trails in Blodgett Open Space that is rated as easy/moderate in difficulty, with the main challenge being a steady climb for the first third of the hike, and possibility in winter of slippage on mud or residual ice/snow. Boots, sunglasses, windbreakers and hats will be needed, and you should plan on bringing water and snacks in a day pack. It is advised to bring microspikes and/or hiking poles if you have them. We will meet at 10:00 at the trailhead at Blodgett Open Space, 3786 Woodmen Rd, Colorado Springs, CO 80919, which can be found on Google Maps. Dogs are welcome but must be leashed.
